Provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring resources are efficiently utilised, services are effectively integrated within the hospital/service and the highest standards of service delivery are achieved in accordance with hospital/service policy directions, service standards and financial targets. Lead, mentor and manage the operational performance of the team/unit and ensures the provision of a safe and high quality clinical service including a high level of clinical and professional standards within the service/department. Provide the Nursing Director Operations, Executive Director Medical Services and the Executive team with relevant advice, clinical expertise and support as required. Provide specialist medical care to patients attending the hospital/service.
