You will join a motivated team of analysts delivering high-quality, scientifically defensible data supporting major Queensland Government research and monitoring programs. This work underpins understanding of environmental and natural resource systems and supports confident, evidence-based policy decisions. The Chemistry Centre provides accredited analysis of soil, sediment and plant samples to support agricultural, environmental and resource management outcomes, advising on research methods, sampling and interpretation. Core expertise includes analytical, water and soil chemistry, sediment geochemistry and environmental tracing. You will apply knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry to research scientific topics and develop analytical methodologies under the Senior Chemist’s direction. You will learn strategic problem-solving and may collaborate with peers.
