Kelso State School is seeking a highly motivated person to undertake the role of Head of Special Education Services. Through the AIP, the school is striving to achieve socially just and inclusive practices for all students. Strong early years transitions programs support a number of children prior to commencing formal schooling. Our school proudly serves a diverse community, including 45% First Nations students and 32% students with a disability. A large number of our students have complex unmet needs, which is why we are seeking a Head of Special Education Services to lead and manage the Inclusion Program, implementing evidence-based educational adjustments to support student learning, engagement, and success. This role is advertised for one semester commencing imminently with the possibility of extension beyond that date.
