The Queensland Government has made a commitment to ensure schools are adequately resourced and empowered to maintain strong behavioural standards and to support teachers to feel safe in Queensland schools. All staff and students have the right to learn and work in safe and disciplined environments. We are supporting every primary, special and secondary state school in Queensland to implement behaviour management strategies. The Director, School and Regional Capability (Behaviour), will join the Student Support Branch to lead a number of projects that support student behaviour, including the development, delivery and evaluation of a suite of professional learning resources for all school staff. The role has an immediate start and is available until 30 June 2027, unless otherwise determined. The base location of this role is Central Office, Brisbane.
