To perform a range of tasks relating to the provision of vehicle standards education and advice. Including the provision of accurate and timely specialist technical advice to motorists, transport operators, authorised inspection stations and members of the public on the requirements for the safe operation, loading and modification of vehicles, having regard to relevant State and National legislation, vehicle standards and established operating policies, guidelines and procedures.
